Join a Thriving Welsh Medium Primary School as a Welsh-Speaking Teacher!

Location: Bargoed

Role: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm)

Pay: £174 per day

Start Date: ASAP

Are you a passionate and qualified Welsh-speaking teacher looking to make a real difference? We’re partnering with a vibrant Welsh Medium Primary School in the Bargoed and surrounding areas and they’re seeking an enthusiastic Welsh-speaking teacher to join their dynamic team.

If you’re excited about fostering a love of the Welsh language in young learners and creating a supportive, engaging classroom environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that inspire a love for learning.
  • Actively promoting and supporting the use of the Welsh language with students, both in lessons and everyday activities.
  • Building meaningful relationships with students, parents, and staff to create a positive school community.
  • Organising and marking student work, while providing constructive feedback to help each child thrive.
  • Tracking both academic progress and personal development, ensuring every child’s needs are met.
  • Creating a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where students can thrive both academically and socially. 

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Is fluent in Welsh, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Has a strong understanding of different learning styles and can adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all students.
  • Demonstrates patience, empathy, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Has excellent organisational skills and is able to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Is passionate about fostering a positive, inclusive, and inspiring classroom atmosphere.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
