Primary Intervention Teacher – Grantham Area (UK-Based Applicants Only)

Location: Grantham and Surrounding Areas
Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Hours
Salary: £120 - £170 Per Day (Based on Experience)

Are you an experienced and passionate educator with a proven track record in delivering targeted interventions? We are seeking a dedicated Primary Intervention Teacher to work with primary school students in the Grantham area, supporting their learning journey and achieving meaningful progress.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Targeted Interventions: Provide focused support to students in need of additional help, tailoring sessions to meet individual learning needs.
  • Assess and Plan: Evaluate students' progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly to maximise outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with classroom teachers and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to learning.
  • Monitor Progress: Keep accurate records of intervention sessions and report on student development.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a primary school setting, with a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment practices.
    • Proven success in delivering targeted interventions.
  • Skills and Attributes:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, staff, and parents effectively.
    • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Experience using data to inform teaching practices and improve student outcomes.
