Position: ICT Teacher
Location: Liverpool, United Kingdom
Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ICT Teacher to join a dynamic and forward-thinking school in Liverpool. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop their technical skills and creativity, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence needed to thrive in the digital world. You will teach ICT to students at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and possibly Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and innovative lessons aligned with the national curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality ICT lessons, covering key topics such as programming, digital literacy, and computational thinking.
  • Use interactive and cutting-edge technologies to enhance student engagement and learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Prepare students for coursework, exams, and future careers in ICT and related fields.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student curiosity and exploration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the ICT curriculum.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in events and activities.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualifications: A degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related subject, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience: Previous teaching experience at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 is desirable.
  • Skills: Strong communication, technical, and organizational skills.
  • Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for technology and education, and a commitment to student success.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to embrace new teaching strategies and digital tools.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
