Position: IT Teacher
Location: Windsor
Salary: Competitive, Dependent on experience

A highly reputable Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) School Group is seeking a dedicated and passionate IT Teacher to join the permanent staff of their independent special school in Windsor. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality IT lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEMH.
  • Develop and implement engaging curriculum and instructional materials that cater to various learning styles and abilities.
  • Utilize technology to enhance learning experiences and outcomes.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support student development.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching IT, preferably within an SEMH or special education setting.
  • Strong understanding of SEMH needs and effective strategies to support students.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver differentiated instruction.
  • Proficiency in a range of IT software and hardware.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
