ICT Teacher/Tutor
Location Devon
Salary 25,410 - £36,300 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
Permanent/Full Time

Teaching Personnel have an excellent opportunity to work with an exceptional school based in Devon. The school are looking for an experienced and dedicated ICT Teacher/Tutor to join their team. This school have 60 pupils aged 7-19 and have a small group and individualised learning for pupil who have Social and emotional needs.

THE PERSON

  • Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS/PGCE) preferred but other recognised teaching qualification considered
  • Experience of teaching ICT to secondary class/group
  • Ability to prepare and deliver appropriate curriculum using a range of teaching styles and methodologies.
  • Experience within an SEN setting essential
  • You will be required to work across school sites and on an outreach in North Devon therefore you must be able to drive and have use of your own vehicle.

THE JOB

  • Undertake subject teaching responsibility and ensure all pupils develop their knowledge and skills and make good progress in their learning
  • Work with the Head Teacher and Leadership team to deliver a sequenced curriculum which builds knowledge and skills towards agreed end points
  • Effectively monitor the progress of each pupil, checking their understanding systematically and effectively, putting in place clearly directed and timely interventions

This school is based in Devon, Must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle. Parking will be available on site.
