Humanities Specialist Cover Supervisor – Flexible Opportunities in Southampton

We are looking for a Humanities Specialist Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools in Southampton. About the Role:
- Specialist subject cover: Deliver engaging humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4, fostering curiosity about the world, its history, and diverse cultures.

- Supportive environment: Most roles do not require planning or marking. For longer-term assignments, additional responsibilities may apply, but salaries will always reflect your workload and be negotiated to ensure you feel supported and valued.
- General cover: Occasionally provide classroom cover in other subjects, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Humanities expertise: Experience teaching, studying, or working in history, geography, religious studies, or similar fields.
- Classroom confidence: Previous experience working with young people in an educational or mentoring capacity is highly desirable.

- Flexible and reliable: Open to a variety of placements across schools in Southampton, with the ability to adapt to different environments and teaching styles.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
