A large primary school located in Leyland (PR25) are currently looking to employ an experienced HLTA on a fixed-term contract starting from January 2025, with this extending throughout the academic year (with the possibility of being made a permanent position)
The position entails offering temporary coverage for PPA and absences in both KS1 and KS2, so having experience in both key stages would be advantageous. The school currently holds a GOOD rating from Ofsted and enjoys a stellar reputation in the local area and community. The school itself is larger than the average school within the area. This offers several benefits, especially for educators aspiring to advance and make the most of the numerous forthcoming opportunities. At the core of the school lies a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, supported by its distinct set of values and visions. The perfect candidate would therefore ideally be able to exhibit these values consistently in their teaching approach. This position would be appropriate for a qualified educator at the HLTA level (or equivalent), or possibly an Early Career Teacher who is eager to acquire additional experience in the primary phases before transitioning into a complete classroom teaching role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
