HLTA, Blackpool (FY4) 

October 2024 - PART-TIME – 3 DAYS

An Ofsted ‘GOOD’ Primary school in Bispham is looking for a motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide specialist provision for a pupil. The school has a consistent and clear approach to delivering support to challenging behaviours so the right candidate must follow these policies.

Roles and responsibilities

  • To deliver a broad, balanced, and engaging curriculum to a group of pupils who experience Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties in the Early Years, KS1 and KS2.
  • To identify and deliver suitable academic and behavioural interventions for individual pupils to accelerate progress and achieve targets set.

Teaching Personnel will consider a candidate who is Level 3 and willing to work towards their Level 4 Qualification. Supervisory experience is essential and experience providing high quality effective support to children with additional needs is also important too, to be considered for the role.

Pay rate: Competitive rates of pay, between £14-£15 per hour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
