Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Wanted – Newcastle

We are looking for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our school in Newcastle. This is a great opportunity to play an important role in supporting our students and working as part of a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lessons in the teacher’s absence and keep students engaged in their learning.
• Work with teachers to plan and prepare activities.
• Support students across all year groups, adapting to their individual needs.
• Assist with assessing student progress and providing feedback.
• Help maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
• Support students with additional needs, including SEN pupils.

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working in a school, delivering lessons and supporting students.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A passion for education and helping children succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
