Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Job description
Teaching Personnel are searching for a HLTA in Dorchester to support an excellent Primary school.
Are you an experienced TA looking for more your next opportunity? This is a Fixed Term role until 31/08/2025
ROLE:
- HLTA - working at a mainstream primary school in Dorchester.
- Hours: Mon- Fri - 8.30am - 15.50pm
- Supporting the classroom teacher with deligated tasks,
- Create a fun and inclusive teaching environment.
- Look after and manage smaller groups - delivering adapted work load.
What you will need:
- Experience as a Teaching assistant or HLTA within the Primary setting.
- Ability to supoprt small groups without teacher intervention.
- Level 2/3 safeguarding with children.
- Enhanced DBS certificate that is registered with the update service (TP can assist with this)
What you will love:
- Supportive Consultant to help with booking, days and pay.
- Weekly pay - 1 week in arears.
- Flexibility with days and hours where needed.
- Making a difference to the classroom and individual pupils.
- Watching the progression of a class and opportunities to cover teaching posts.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
