Job description
Teaching Personnel are working with a lovely secondary school in Redditch who are looking for an enthusiastic graduate to support as a teaching assistant. This is a perfect opportunity to gain classroom experience before embarking on teacher training.
The Opportunity:
• Graduate Teaching Assistant
• Graduates with a 2:2 or above Hons degree required
• Aspiring teachers/educational psychologists/ SEN Teachers
• 1:1 & Small Group work
• Full-time roles – Monday - Friday
The successful graduate must:
• Be enthusiastic, confident and approachable
• Have strong subject knowledge within English Maths and Science (GCSE A* - C)
• Be able to work effectively as party of a large team
• Have strong communication and behaviour skills
• Be able to inspire and motivate children in the classroom
• Have high expectations and be committed to seeing all children reach their full potential
• Be able to deliver well structured lessons for small groups/1:1 sessions
• Be flexible and self-motivated
In this role, you will focus on managing students during class-based activities. Additionally, you will be required to work with small groups both inside and outside the classroom and lead 1:1 sessions. Furthermore, you will be required to assist the class teacher in preparing and setting up class activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
