If you've recently completed your degree, several partner schools in the Malton area are seeking graduates for day-to-day and long-term placements starting in September. Ideally, you would be available full-time for the teaching assistant roles, and a strong academic background, particularly in English, is preferred as these positions involve working within the English department.

Key Responsibilities in the Teaching Assistant Role:

• Support class teachers across both key stages.
• Lead small groups of pupils on specific modules.
• Deliver 1:1 support to individual children.
• Plan and monitor progress in the run-up to exams.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Passionate about English and supporting children's progress.
• Hold a degree and A-levels in English, showcasing a strong academic background.
• Possess classroom or tutoring experience with the English syllabus.
