If you've recently completed your degree, several partner schools in the Malton area are seeking graduates for day-to-day and long-term placements starting in September. Ideally, you would be available full-time for the teaching assistant roles, and a strong academic background, particularly in English, is preferred as these positions involve working within the English department.
Key Responsibilities in the Teaching Assistant Role:
- Support class teachers across both key stages.
- Lead small groups of pupils on specific modules.
- Deliver 1:1 support to individual children.
- Plan and monitor progress in the run-up to exams.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Passionate about English and supporting children's progress.
- Hold a degree and A-levels in English, showcasing a strong academic background.
- Possess classroom or tutoring experience with the English syllabus.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
