Graduate Future Teacher
- Area: Bedford
- Salary: £83.85-95 per day (varied depending on experience and qualifications)
- Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week (or ad-hoc flexible)
- Start date: January 2025 onwards

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking Graduate Future Teachers who are open to fulfilling support roles in Secondary schools as Teaching Assistants or Cover Supervisors, with the end goal of being supported into Inegrated Teacher Training.
This is a perfect opportunity for a recent graduate or someone who is potentially looking to start a career in education. This position will allow you to gain experience managing a variety of lessons and building rapport with students. This is a chance to develop teaching and strong classroom management skills in an environment where planning will always be in place. The ideal Graduate will specalise in any of the syllabus including STEM, Humanities, Sports, Arts or Creative based subjects.
Teaching Personnel is specifically supporting two Secondary Schools in Bedford to provide Graduate Teachers ready to shape the future of their schools.
Responsibilities:
- Working across a range of different year groups and departments
- Managing the behaviour of students
- Supervising pre-planned, pre-set work from teachers
Would you be suitable?
- Recent and relevant experience working with young people, this can be in an educational, coaching or care setting
- Degree educated
- Be passionate and committed to working with children in education
- Have strong behaviour management skills
- Be an effective communicator and have strong interpersonal skills
- Be punctual, flexible and reliable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
