About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN graduate to join our vibrant team. As an SEN TA, you do not need prior experience in the classroom as you will be instrumental in supporting the class teacher and working closely with students with special educational needs, ensuring a positive and engaging learning experience for all. Initially, you will be employed by Teaching Personnel, with the potential to transition to a permanent school contract for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in providing educational support to SEN students
  • Work individually or with small groups of SEN students (6/8 pupils per classroom) to enhance their learning
  • Support classroom management and organisation
  • Ensure the well-being of all students, with a focus on those with SEN
  • Help plan and prepare personalised learning activities

Requirements:

  • Has a good sense of humour 
  • To have the confidence with SEN students who can exhibit challenging behaviour
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs
  • Must reside in the UK
