Join Our Team as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant!

If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support to succeed in the classroom.

This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates who are looking to gain hands-on experience.

Position: Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Preston, PR4.
Start Date: ASAP.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Supporting students with a range of special educational needs, both inside and outside the classroom
  • Working closely with teachers and SEN coordinators to adapt lessons and resources
  • Providing one-on-one or small group assistance to ensure students can access the curriculum
  • Helping to manage behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with personal care, where necessary

What we are looking for:

  • A recent graduate with a passion for education and SEN
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic educational environment
  • Prior experience working with children (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
