Have you just graduated from university and considering a career in education? Are you looking to gain some additional classroom-based experience for a future role in education? Do you need to gain some invaluable experience working as a teaching assistant to get you onto a PGCE or teacher training course?
The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about working with children and would be ideally have some experience working with children whether this be tutoring, coaching or summer schoolwork. This is not essential, so if you don't have any experience please apply.
Teaching Personnel are looking for several graduates to work in SEND schools in and around Bristol. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students, making a positive impact on their educational journey.
As part of your role, you will collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons, providing one-on-one and small group support to students, assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a sense of belonging and motivation among students, support classroom management and behaviour management strategies, ensuring a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Psychology, English, Mathematics, Science, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with students of different ages and backgrounds.
- Passion for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on student's lives.
- Patience, adaptability, and the ability to build rapport and trust with students.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
