The Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to work in secondary schools across the Wirral, providing teaching support on both a full-time and flexible supply basis. This role is ideal for those considering a future career in teaching or seeking valuable classroom experience before embarking on formal teacher training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons to students aged 11-18 in a variety of subjects (dependent on your background and interests)
- Support students with varying learning needs, helping to enhance their educational experience
- Assist class teachers with classroom management, planning, and marking
- Provide 1:1 or small group tuition to boost student achievement
- Maintain a positive learning environment and promote student well-being
- Gain invaluable experience working alongside experienced educators
What We’re Looking For:
- Recent graduates or those with relevant subject expertise
- A strong desire to pursue a career in teaching or education
- Passion for working with young people and helping them reach their full potential
- Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with students and staff
- Adaptable, reliable, and confident in managing classroom environments
- Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential
- Enhanced DBS and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
