Job Advertisement: Part-Time Geography Teacher (11-18 Provision)

Location: East Lancashire
Start Date: Monday 24th February 2025
Contract: Part-Time (Three Days Per Week)
Duration: Until the End of the Academic Year

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our thriving 11-18 provision in East Lancashire. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds and contribute to the academic success of our students in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Geography lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that foster a love for Geography and support diverse learning needs.
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress, ensuring each learner reaches their potential.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including participating in departmental meetings and supporting extracurricular activities related to Geography.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience teaching Geography to 11-18-year-olds.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to high expectations for student achievement and personal development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
