General Teacher
Location – Suffolk
Full-time salary £27,510 - £35,585 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.  This is the actual salary you will receive as you will be paid all year round including the school holidays.
Full-time or part-time considered.  Full-time is 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Teaching Personnel have a great opportunity to work with an Independent special school based In Suffolk. The school cater for 11-16 year olds and focus on social and emotional development.

The Job

  • Undertake subject teaching responsibility and ensure all pupils develop their knowledge
    and skills and make good progress in their learning
  • Work with the Head Teacher and Leadership team to deliver a sequenced curriculum
    which builds knowledge and skills towards agreed end points
  • Effectively monitor the progress of each pupil, checking their understanding
    systematically and effectively, putting in place clearly directed and timely interventions
  • Inspire confidence in pupils and colleagues Work collaboratively, and foster positive relationships, as part of the school team Engage and motivate pupils, promoting their progress and well-being Have high expectations of every pupil
  • Role model professional conduct and presentation

The Person  

  • Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS/PGCE)
  • Ability to teach from primary level up to GCSE 
  • Ability to prepare and deliver appropriate curriculum using a range of teaching styles and methodologies.
  • Experience within an SEN setting an advantage

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
