Job Title: English and Maths GCSE SEN Tutor

Location:

England, Greater London, Romford

Job Duties:

  • Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) preparing for their GCSE exams
  • Create individualised lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other support staff to ensure student success

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialist knowledge and experience in teaching English and Maths to students with SEN

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in SEN teaching

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of SEN teaching strategies and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

Working Conditions:

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing tutoring to students with SEN.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
