Job description

Are you passionate about supporting young people to work towards their learning goals, help bridge gaps in their learning to help prepare for their GCSE Exams? Then I want to hear from you!

I am recruiting for educators who can tutor young people on a 1:1 basis within their home, care home or public venue to help them with GCSE content. This role is based in Colchester. I am looking for tutors who can help with English, Maths and Science.

As a tutor, you will need to …

  • Be confident in creating resources in lines with the UK National Curriculum.
  • Deliver stimulating resources to young people, which are tailored to their needs and interests.
  • Be able to build a rapport with students.
  • Write session reports about what was covered in sessions so that we can track the progress and content being covered.
  • Have some SEN/ SEMH experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
