Job description

Job Title: GCSE Outreach Tutor

Location:

East of England, Essex, Clacton-on-Sea

Job Type:

Temporary, Part-Time hours

Salary:

£20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

1. Delivering high-quality tuition to GCSE students in various subjects.

2. Developing and implementing individualised learning plans based on students' needs and goals.

3. Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods accordingly.

4. Providing feedback to students and parents on performance and areas for improvement.

5. Collaborating with school staff and parents to ensure students' academic success.

6. Keeping accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.

Required Qualifications:

- A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, etc.)

- Experience working with GCSE students

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to motivate and inspire students

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field

Experience:

Previous experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE students

Knowledge and Skills:

- In-depth understanding of the GCSE curriculum

- Ability to create engaging lesson plans

- Strong organisational and time management skills

- Proficiency in using educational technology

Working Conditions:

- Part-time hours, temporary position

- Will require travel to different locations for outreach sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
