Job description

Are you passionate about supporting young people to work towards their learning goals, help bridge gaps in their learning to help prepare for their GCSE and Functional Skills Exams? Then I want to hear from you!

 

I am recruiting for educators who can tutor young people on a 1:1 basis within their home, care home or public venue to help them with GCSE or Functional Skills content. This role is based in Ilford. I am looking for tutors who can help with English, Maths and Science.

 

As a tutor, you will need to …

  • Be confident in creating resources in lines with the UK National Curriculum.
  • Deliver stimulating resources to young people, which are tailored to their needs and interests.
  • Be able to build a rapport with students.
  • Write session reports about what was covered in sessions so that we can track the progress and content being covered.
  • Have some SEN/ SEMH experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
