Job Duties:
1. Deliver engaging and effective English and Maths functional skills lessons to students.
2. Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet individual learning needs.
3. Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
4. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
5. Keep accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.
Required Qualifications:
A relevant teaching qualification
Experience in delivering English and Maths functional skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Proven experience in teaching English and Maths functional skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent understanding of English and Maths functional skills curriculum
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet varying student needs
Strong organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional teaching certifications
Experience in working with adult learners
Working Conditions:
Temporary position with Full-Time hours
Work primarily in a home setting
Potential for remote teaching depending on circumstances

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
