Functional Skills Tutor
TP Tutors are recruiting Functional Skills Tutors in the NG7 area. Do you have experience teaching and a passion to help young people reach their potential? We want to hear fom you!
Job Duties:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning sessions to help learners improve their functional skills in English and Maths
- Develop and implement tailored learning plans to meet the individual needs of learners
- Assess the progress of learners and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, progress, and achievements
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
Qualifications and Skills:
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, CertEd) or equivalent
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area
Experience teaching functional skills
Excellant understanding of the functional skills curriculum
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and engage learners effectively

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
