Functional Skills Tutor

Job Duties:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning of functional skills such as English and Maths
  • Assess and monitor students' progress to ensure they meet the required standards
  • Create engaging lesson plans and materials tailored to individual student needs
  • Provide constructive feedback to support student development

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, CertEd)
  • Experience in delivering functional skills education
  • Experience in assessing student progress and adapting teaching methods accordingly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
