Position Overview:
As a Full-Time Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and helping students achieve their full potential. This role involves working closely with teachers to create a positive learning environment, assisting with classroom activities, and providing individualized support to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Support students with their learning, providing additional help where needed.
- Manage classroom behavior to ensure a productive learning environment.
- Prepare and organize classroom materials and resources.
- Assist with the supervision of students during breaks and extracurricular activities.
- Work with small groups or one-on-one with students to provide targeted support.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant) is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- Commitment to supporting the educational and personal development of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
