Food Technology Teacher – Secondary School, Middleton (Maternity Cover)

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Middleton on a maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and deliver high-quality lessons in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and creative Food Technology lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Encourage student participation and foster a positive learning environment
  • Monitor and report on student progress, providing support where necessary
  • Contribute to the development of the Design & Technology department

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification in Food Technology
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level (KS3/KS4)

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
