Food Technology Teacher
Location: Lincoln
Pay: £160 - £200 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30 (Term time only)

Are you a skilled and passionate Food Technology Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated educator to support secondary schools in the Lincoln area on long-term placements.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Inspire students to develop their cooking skills, nutritional knowledge, and understanding of food preparation.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student creativity and independence.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure a seamless and enriching learning experience for all pupils.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Food Technology or related subject.
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary school level is desirable.
  • Ability to manage a safe and organized classroom, including adherence to food hygiene standards.
  • Full-time availability during term time (Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30).
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
