About the Role:

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed university students to join our school as Teaching Assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a school environment, supporting teachers and students across a range of subjects and age groups. You will work flexible hours that can be tailored around your university schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering lessons and supporting students' learning.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students who need additional help.
  • Support the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Supervise and engage with students during breaks, lunchtime, or extra-curricular activities.

The successful educator may have the following:

  • Currently enrolled in a university degree program (education-related studies are a plus, but not essential).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with young people.
  • A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a passion for education.
  • Flexibility to work on a part-time basis, with hours that fit around your university schedule.
  • No prior experience is necessary; training will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
