Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a teaching assistant for a primary school in Burnley, East Lancashire. Please see the job specification below:
We are looking for a committed and motivated individual who would like to join our friendly and hardworking team as a teaching assistant working within EYFS. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced teaching assistant, or someone seeking professional development. The post is full-time and located in Burnley, East Lancashire.
This position is ideal for Teaching Assistants with extensive EYFS experience. As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for taking on a range of duties including supporting children 1:1, leading small group interventions, managing classroom behaviour, and building relationships with pupils. The role will involve assisting with the planning, delivery and evaluation of the curriculum and developing resources to support pupils in accessing their learning.
The successful applicant will work collaboratively with our teachers to meet the personal, social and curriculum-related needs of pupils. We’re looking for a dedicated individual to provide tailored classroom support to our pupils. You will be committed to making a positive difference to young people’s lives and in supporting and developing their learning. Your intervention will help enable an outstanding learning environment for our young people, providing the support they need to succeed.
What will your role as a Reception (EYFS) Primary Teaching Assistant involve?
· Working across Reception (EYFS) – Focus on raising attainment and the quality of learning
· Permanent opportunity
· Working alongside experienced professionals and staff
Requirements:
- Minimum of Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject
- Have experience supporting children with SEND
- Good knowledge and confidence with the EYFS curriculum
- Phonics experience and training highly desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
