EYFS Teacher
Do you enjoy working with children and want a rewarding career, by shaping the young minds of the future?
We are currently seeking a passionate EYFS Teacher to work in the Burnley area.
Location: Rochdale
Pay: £120 - £140 per day.
Hours: Full-time Monday – Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with children to ensure they engage with the curriculum and their learning.
- Have a calm and nurturing approach to ensure children are happy and positive.
- Support children and families during their transition to Primary School.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons and continuous provision, so that children can achieve their full potential.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of diverse learners and those with additional needs.
- Work with Teaching Assistants, parents and other professionals e.g. SENCO, educational psychologists to support pupil development.
- Create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Be committed to the safeguarding of all pupils, ensuring you adopt school’s policies and participate in regular safeguarding training.
- Ensure children are assessed and progress is recorded so that feedback can be provided to children, parents and SLT.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).
- Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS Framework and Development Matters.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have effective behaviour management strategies.
- Understand child development.
- Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
