Job description

Job Title: Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA)

Location:

Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds

Job Type:

Temporary, Full-Time hours

Salary:

£83.95 - £95 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Supporting the EYFS teacher in delivering high-quality early years education
  • Assisting with planning and implementing engaging and educational activities
  • Supporting the social, emotional, and educational development of young children
  • Providing pastoral care and support to children as needed
  • Assisting with record-keeping and maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Previous experience working with young children

Education:

Minimum Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent

Experience:

Prior experience working with young children is essential

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First Aid certification
  • Training in safeguarding and child protection

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced early years classroom environment
  • Full-time hours with the possibility of overtime
  • Interaction with young children and their families

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
