Experienced Nursery Practitioners needed!

  • £12.90 p/h
  • Flexible hours.
  • Experience needed.
  • Early Years Qualification desired but not essential.

Multiple opportunities have arisen for nursery practitioners within a cluster of nurseries across the South Ribble area (Penwortham, Chorley, Leyland) This cluster of nurseries are looking to recruit multiple nursery practitioners to offer staffing support across the local area when needed. This is a great opportunity to gain more experience within Early Years settings and to be able to work across different settings and be considered for possible long-term opportunities or future posts.

The company is looking for nursery practitioners who have the below attributes:

-          Proactive.

-          Great communication.

-          Early Years knowledge.

-          Knowledge of the 3 I’s.

-          Child-led approach experience.

-          Able to take direction.

-          Caring.

-          Comfortable with personal care.

It is essential that the right candidates have previous experience working within the Early Years sector and therefore understand how to support and enhance a child’s development in the moment. Setting up activities will also be included within this role; therefore, a knowledge of the curriculum will be needed to support the right candidate in doing so to be able to link these activities to the developmental milestones and ensure they are age appropriate, however support will be given by the room leader to help with this. This role also requires candidates to be comfortable supporting children with personal care such as toileting, changing clothes and changing nappies whilst continuing to promote the child’s dignity and showing them respect.

Due to the flexibility of this post, the nursery cluster can accept varied availability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
