Exam Invigilators Needed – Teaching Assistant Experience Preferred
Location: Stoke-on-Trent & Stone
Sector: Secondary Schools
Pay: £12.90 per hour (minimum)
Start Date: February 2025
Role Overview:
Teaching Personnel is seeking dependable Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools in the Stoke and Stone areas. While prior experience as a Teaching Assistant is beneficial, it is not essential. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain school-based experience, with the opportunity to transition into Teaching Assistant roles after the exam period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during exams, ensuring compliance with exam regulations.
- Collaborate with the school's exam team to maintain a smooth process.
- Monitor student attendance and behaviour during exams.
- Prepare exam rooms and provide required materials.
- Collect exam papers and report any issues to the Exams Officer.
- Ensure students are seated correctly and understand exam protocols.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
