Are you an English specialist looking for a new role?

Are flexible working hours something that you are looking for?

Here at TP Tutors (Specialist Tuition Branch of Teaching Personnel) we are looking for English tutors needed to support pupils outside of mainstream school education across Derbyshire. We have been requested to find qualified English teachers and English tutors who can support students who require additional tuition and intervention support. You will be given the opportunity to teach English to looked after children, low achieving students and many more.

TP Tutors cover all of Derbyshire so you will have English tutoring opportunities on a flexible basis matching your availability whether that be one day or five days a week. Funded directly through Local authorities and Virtual schools - the role of a English tutor is highly rewarding as you can make a significant impact on a young person’s educational experience and track their progress through regular targeted sessions in English.

If you are an English teacher looking to tutor students, you will need to match the following criteria;

**Have experience of delivering the English curriculum in the UK across KS3 and KS4

**No QTS required – just some form of tuition experience is needed

**Provide regular reports monitoring progress made by the students tutored

Main highlights of working as a English tutor through TP Tutors:

**Hourly rates of pay up to £25 dependant on your experience

**Flexible work schedule with a reduced workload from full time Teaching

**Opportunity to work on a 1:1 basis making a significant impact on attainment by the students you tutor

If you are currently employed as a English tutor or have been employed as a English teacher an looking to step into tutoring we welcome your application. You will need to provide suitable references and be eligible for a DBS application.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
