Due to an upcoming vacancy, a well-regarded secondary school in Hindley, Wigan is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join their team. This role is initially offered on a temporary basis for two terms, with the possibility of securing a permanent position.
Key Details:
- Full-time English Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
- Temporary for two terms (January to July 2025) with potential for a permanent contract.
- In line with MPS/UPS, ranging from £28,000 to £43,685 per annum.
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) specialising in English.
- Must have experience teaching English to students aged 11-16, including GCSE-level English.

- Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs/ECTs) are welcome and encouraged to apply.
- Passionate about driving student success, with the ability to inspire and challenge students.
- Willing to fully engage with the responsibilities of planning, teaching, and marking.
