Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher looking for a new opportunity? A well-regarded school in the Wigan area is seeking a passionate English teacher to join their team. This full-time position is set to begin in September 2024, with the potential to transition from a temporary to a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons to students, ensuring an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Plan and implement lessons that cater to the varying needs and abilities of students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and share best practices.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities, contributing to the school community.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Passionate about teaching English and inspiring students.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
