Position: English Teacher
Location: Tameside
Start Date: January 2025
Salary: £162-£251 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an exceptional English Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Tameside. This role involves shaping young minds, fostering a love of literature, and helping students excel in English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering well-structured English lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
  • Preparing students for GCSE exams with engaging content and effective revision strategies.
  • Tracking and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
  • Inspiring a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking in students.
  • Contributing to the English Department’s collaborative and creative ethos.

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS or equivalent qualification with a strong background in English.
  • Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • Ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
