Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a school in mid-Cornwall, who are looking for an English teacher, starting as soon as possible, continuing into the New Year. This is a full-time role, so applicants should ensure they are available 08:30am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday. The role requires planning and marking, so the role will be paid to scale.

We are looking for a FQT, or ECT, who is eager for a new challenge for the new academic year. Knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 National Curriculum is essential to this role. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about encouraging and motivating students to reach their full potential.

Educators will be required to have a Child Workforce DBS on the update service prior to being place in a school, however, support with this can be offered during the registration process. Candidates applying should have excellent knowledge of policies including Child Protection, Health and Safety, Behaviour, Teaching and Learning, and Equal Opportunities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
