English Teacher (KS3 and KS4)

 

A mainstream secondary school in Sheffield (S10) is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, starting in January. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to fostering a love for literature and language among students.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  • Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and contribute to school initiatives.

 

Ideal Candidate:

  • A qualified teacher with a strong background in English education.
  • Enthusiastic about teaching and capable of inspiring students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
