As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering a love of literature, language, and communication. You'll work alongside a collaborative team of educators and be part of a supportive school environment that values professional development and student well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English to KS3 and KS4 students (and possibly KS5, depending on experience).
- Create engaging lesson plans and develop innovative resources to inspire students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Work closely with colleagues to promote cross-curricular learning and best teaching practices.
- Contribute to extra-curricular activities and events that enhance the school community.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Passion for teaching English and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is a plus but not essential).
