Join Our Team as an English Tutor in Nottinghamshire!

Are you passionate about teaching and inspiring others? Do you have a knack for English literature and language? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Here at TP Tutors, we are seeking passionate and dedicated English tutors to support pupils outside of mainstream school education across Nottinghamshire. Teaching Personnel is looking for an English Tutor who can provide additional tuition and intervention support to students in need. You will have the opportunity to teach English to looked after children, low-achieving students, and more.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality English tutoring sessions to students at the secondary level.
  • Provide personalised support and assistance to students, catering to their unique learning needs.
  • Create interactive and stimulating lesson plans to engage students.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback via our learning platform, LEAP.

Requirements:

  • All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
  • Proven experience as an English tutor or teacher with a strong track record of helping students achieve progress.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
