Position: English Teacher in Secondary teaching

Location: Northampton

One of our client’s schools in Northampton has come forward with an excellent opportunity to join their dedicated and passionate team of English Teachers! They are committed to providing the very best Education to all students to help enable them to achieve their potential in taking their next steps in life. The school are based centrally to Northampton in NN1, and is a 10 minute walk from the central bus station so has great transport links! The successful candidate would be working in an extremely supportive environment which offers in house training within their “training hub” as well as cross networking amongst the other schools in the trust to boost your skills and knowledge and healthcare support benefits.

About the role

With the new academic year fast approaching our client is keen to have somebody ready to start from September, Full-time Monday to Friday with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.

As a specialised English teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver high quality lessons prepared by yourself to students across Key stages 3 and 4. Helping to inspire the students, through your love and interest of the subject.

Requirements

  • A qualification in teaching – Specialising in English (QTS or equivalent) however would still accept unqualified teachers with 3+ years’ experience teaching English to Secondary.
  • Have an abundance of Knowledge in both English Literature and Language
  • A child only enhanced DBS
  • The ability to inspire and motivate the students to develop a love for the subject and learning
  • Overseas police clearance (If applicable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
