The school is modern and vibrant with top of the range teaching facilities as well sports facilities for pupils.

Luton is a town and borough in Bedfordshire which is easily accessible by car from Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, and Hertfordshire. It is also accessible on public transport from Bedford, Milton Keynes, and some areas of London. In recent years, Luton Town has put itself back on the map through the successes of Luton Town football club and Kenilworth Road stadium is a well known footballing venue. Luton is known for its diversity as well its strong links to education with the large university of Bedford sitting in the heart of Luton.
About the role
The school is searching for a Teacher of English to join the successful English department, supporting pupils with their learning in both English literature and English language. As a Teacher of English at the school you will be responsible for:
- Teaching KS3 and KS4 English Lessons
- Planning, marking, and full teacher responsibilities including a form group
- Delivering feedback to pupils and parents
- Developing the English curriculum delivered at the school
- Working on a Full Time basis
Am I suitable?
The successful candidate will be able to showcase their experience and achievements as a Teacher of English and will have:
- Qualified Techer Status
- ECT applications also welcomed
- Degree or Higher in relevant field
- At least 1 year teaching experience to Secondary age pupils
- Unqualified Teacher applications will be considered if the candidate can showcase a vast experience of teaching GCSE and/or A Level English
