Job description

English Teacher

Teaching Personnel are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in West London

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students across Key Stages 3-5.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain high standards of discipline and classroom management.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of successful teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for inspiring a love of learning in young people.
  • Strong subject knowledge of English Literature and Language.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
