Abut this role: This secondary school is looking for a full-time teacher to deliver English lessons throughout the school. In this role, candidates should expect to be accountable for planning, delivering, and reflecting on the needs of the class before, during and after lessons in addition to supporting their department with preparing for lessons and ensuring that the needs of the class and department are met and supported.

A successful candidate in this role will have a QTS and relevant qualifications in English for this role, in addition to this, candidates should also have confidence in delivering material and being able to prepare for multiple lessons over different year groups through forward planning and preparedness. It would be beneficial for candidates to have a understanding of the current curriculum with relevant knowledge of literature and skills required for students to support students in succeeding and attaining their targets.
