About the role
The school is looking for a Teacher of English to join the successful English department, supporting pupils with their learning in both English literature and English language. As a Teacher of English at the school you will be responsible for:
- Teach across both KS3 and KS4 English Lessons
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children within the school
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of the students within the class as well as have a form group
- Plan, mark and deliver lessons
- Working on a full-Time basis
Am I suitable?
The successful candidate for the Teacher of English position will have to have:
- Qualified Techer Status
- ECT applications also welcomed
- Degree or Higher in relevant field
- At least 1 year teaching experience to Secondary age pupils
- Unqualified Teacher applications will be considered if the candidate can showcase a vast experience of teaching GCSE and/or A Level English
