English Teacher

Are you a qualified English teacher ready open to various roles part time or full time in one of our amazing "outstanding" rated partner schools in Coventry?

Teaching Personnel will pay to scale on all fully qualified teacher roles!!!

 

Ideal Candidate:

- Hold a UK QTS in English

- PGCE or schools direct complete

- Prior experience teaching English in secondary schools with a proven track record

- Excellent school based references

- Confident behaviour management techniques and strong classroom presence

- Prior experience working with children with SEN and SEMH and have the confidence to work closely with them again

 

Responsibilities:

- planning English lessons to a high standard which caters to diverse needs within each class (Years 7-11)

- delivering engaging English lessons which contribute to the learning and development of all individuals within your classes

- manage classroom behaviours effectively by maintaining a strong classroom presence

- collaborate well with colleagues within the department showing strong communication skills

- ensure safeguarding is at the pinnacle of all that you do

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
