Job Title: English Teacher

Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire, Cambridge

Job Type: Contract, Full-Time for the Autumn term 2024

Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 Per annum

School: The school is an Ofsted rated 'Good' school located in the North of Cambridge, they are committed to supporting their young people in becoming ambitious, well-rounded adults whilst cultivating a Lifelong Love of Learning and development.

The post will require the full teaching role to be completed, including but not limited to; planning, marking, assessing, parents evenings. 

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress
  • Provide constructive feedback to students
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in English or related field
  • Experience in teaching English at the appropriate level that can be referenced
  • Can demonstrate ability to engage and motivate students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the English curriculum upto KS4
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Organisational and time management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
